What Paul is saying to us over and over in Romans 6 is: You’re not under the reign of Satan, sin, and death anymore. You’re not their slave any more. You’re not in their kingdom anymore. They don’t have any jurisdiction over you now. You’re now under the reign of Christ, grace, righteousness, and life. So live like it.
